In recognition of the financial support provided, Derwent and Minster Lions Clubs were invited to join the Riding for Disabled Carriage Driving Holiday guests at their fun packed presentation evening, held at Queen Margaret’s School in Escrick. Susan Dudley-Smith had organised a great evening which included yorkshire pud and spoon races (saved the mess….) and a hilarious competition where guests presented their thoughts on potential new inventions for horses.
Congratulations to Susan Dudley-Smith and the RDA team who organised such a marvellous holiday for a fantastic group of people who really knew how to enjoy themselves!
On behalf of both Lions Clubs, Derwent Lion President Ken Sutcliffe had the pleasure of presenting competition prizes and awards to successful drivers.
