A great opportunity to reduce the hassle of disposing of your tree in an environmentally friendly way while donating to charity!
Derwent Lions aim to collect and recycle natural xmas trees on the weekend of 6th/7th January 2024
Our plan is currently as follows:
- Escrick / Wheldrake / Dunnington – 6th January 2024
- Elvington / Sutton on Derwent / Newton on Derwent / Stamford Bridge – 7th January 2024
To take advantage, please book your tree for collection in advance via the Just Helping website, where you can make your voluntary donation on line. It is important to book by then as visit schedules will be created from this data. Exceptionally if you miss this date, please email derwentlions@gmail.com with your details and we will try to fit you in but this cannot be guaranteed.
Please note: We will use best endeavours to collect your tree on the date specified but reserve the right to rearrange or even cancel these arrangements if government policy or unforeseen local circumstance dictate. Regrettably we will not be able to return any donations to the Hospice made through the Justhelping website.
