Derwent lions celebrated its 41st year as an active club with a black tie dinner held at Swallow Hall. Guests joined us from far and wide to hear our president John Newlove recount some of our achievements this year, particularly with community groups. Then followed an evening of prize roulette, kindly hosted by Martin and Marion Irving . Well done to Michelle, who came out on top, beating off frenzied chip casters in true geordie style!
